Choose how to tally the quantities used in the quantity pricing table. Choose to tally quantities based on the cart quantity of the product, each individual variation, each cart line item (useful when using Product Add-ons or Gravity Forms Add-ons), or based on categories in the cart.

 

Advanced product pricing is useful when you need to discount a product based on the quantity of something a shopper is purchasing. Optionally, advanced product pricing can be applied to existing customers who you have added to a role you configure, such as “Gold Members”.

 

Examples

Give a 10% discount to Product Name when shoppers purchase 5 or more Product Names.

Give a $20 discount to Gold Members when they purchase between 2-5 Product Names. Give them a $25 discount when if they purchase more than 5.

Give a 5% discount to Everyone and a 10% discount to Gold Members when they purchase 5 or more Product Names.

Offer a Laptop carrying case at a %10 discount if they purchase 1 or more items from the Laptops category.

 

 

Advanced Category Pricing

Configure bulk discounts for product categories by creating a table of quantities and discount amounts. Choose between a fixed price adjustment and a percentage based adjustment. Optionally choose roles the category pricing rule should be applied to.

Advanced Category Pricing is useful when you need to price adjust all items in a category, based on the number of items a shopper is purchasing from your product categories. Optionally, advanced category pricing can be applied to existing customers who you have added to a role you configure, such as Gold Members.

Examples

Give a 10% discount on all items in the Paperback Books category when a shopper purchases 5 or more items from the Paperback Books category.

Give a $10 discount on all items in the Carrying Cases category when a Gold Member purchases 1 or more items from the E-Readers category.

Simple Category Pricing

Configure discounts for all items in a product category. Choose between a fixed price adjustment and a percentage based adjustment. Discounts configured using simple category discounts are displayed shoppers as they shop and browse items from your catalog.

Examples

Give a 10% discount to all items in the T-Shirts category.

 

 

Simple Role Based Pricing

Configure discounts for all products in the store for users in roles you create. Discounts configured using simple role based pricing are displayed to logged on customers as they shop and browse items from your catalog.

Cart Add-ons– Don’t assume the shopping cart page means the online shopper has finished and is ready to checkout. You should always show cross-sell items, especially on cart views. People access the shopping cart for any number of reasons, and adding recommendations to your shopping cart adds another layer of interest for buyers and helps add value to their buying experience. Most store owners want to get the customer to the checkout process as quickly as possible. The customer won’t be able to checkout until they meet your restrictions – errors will be shown on their cart page and prompt them to correct their cart items.

 


Force Sells– The Force Sells extension allows you to link products together, so they will be added to the cart together. This can be useful for linking a service or required product to another product.

For example, if you are selling iPad glass repair as a service, you can link a new glass window as a forced sell product.

There are two types of force sells:

Normal force sell products will be added to the cart along with the main product, in the same quantity as selected for the main product. Added force sell products can be removed and the quantity of it can be changed in the cart by the customer.

Synced force sell products work in the very same way as normal force sells. The only difference is that customers can’t remove a synced force sell from the cart or change the quantity. In case the main product is removed, the synced force sell products will be removed too. Same goes for quantity. If the quantity of the main product is changed, the quantity for all synced force sell products will change too.

 


Chained Products– Everyone loves combo packs (and they sell really well!!). This plugin makes it super easy to create and configure them. Simply create a new product for the combo, and chain as many products as you want with it. Give the combo product a price and that’s the price people pay for the whole deal. Chained products are automatically added to the order when payment is completed. (and if they refund / cancel the order, they will be automatically removed as well!!) And this even works for digital goods. Customers will be granted download access for chained products automatically. It even works when you manually add a combo product to an order!

Whats more, the combo product is a simple product, so you can apply all the shipping rules / discount coupons or anything else you want to throw in the deal.
